St Austell Brewery Partner with Green Taverners

St Austell Brewery

After a very successful meeting with St Austell Brewery today we are pleased to announce that St Austell Brewery are now an official partner of the Green Taverners.

St Austell Brewery have agree to supply the Green Taverners with the Beer for the FanFest against Walsall on Saturday and will help out at all future Green Taverners events.

With St Austell Brewery agreeing to help it means that we can use the money we would have spent on the beer to help out with Staff Fund and also first team needs.

We thank St Austell Brewery for all their support and look forward to a long running relationship.

If you are a business and would like to support the Green Taverners please email Mark on contact@greentaverners.co.uk

Staff Fund Update and Thanks

We have today passed over £5,200 to the Club so each member of staff gets £100 from the staff fund.

We would like to just say a massive thanks to a few groups of people who have helped out over the last week:-
All the people who have donated through Pasoti or Green Taverners site.
A massive thanks to the Senior Greens who last night handed over a cheque to us for £500 to go into the Staff fund.
An anonymous donator who today handed £250 over to the club to add to the fund as well.

Thanks to everyone who has helped out over the last couple of months for this, the staff keep saying a massive thank you to everyone involved.

Keep up the good work!!

How can you help Green Taverners Funds?

You have probably heard in the National Press about the current situation with Plymouth Argyle Football Club going into administration, however you might not be aware that the staff at PAFC haven’t been paid since January, and are not going to get paid at least till the end of April.

We think this is massive commitment from the staff not only to the Football Club’s fan’s but also to the larger football community. So we would like to give you some more information below:-
The Green Taverners are a new organisation setup a few months ago by fans who want to try and support the staff and players through the hard times, we are buying equipment for the first team and also helping the staff with some money to pay their bills, and so far we have relied on the generosity of the fans to help, however we are now looking for people and business nationally to help out.

We are therefore asking people and business’s to support the staff and make a donation to the cause, this can be done through PayPal or you can email me on contact@greentaverners.co.uk, to make payment by cheque or bacs.

All the money you donate will go to the Green Taverners, for staff and equipment for the team and is nothing to do with the Administration team, so every penny will go to the cause.

We really appreciate the support that the local community has given so far.

Thanks in advance

Mark

Calling all Business’s in Plymouth

As you are aware from local press coverage, the staff at Plymouth Argyle FC have agreed to work for the club for no wages through March and April, and have not been paid since January.

The Green Taverners are a new organisation setup a few months ago by fans who want to try and support the staff and players through the hard times, we are buying equipment for the first team and also helping the staff with some money to pay their bills, and so far we have relied on the generosity of the fans to help, however we are now looking for the local business community to help out.

We are all aware that PAFC helps the local economy through the good times and would be a major loss to the city if it was to go, and anyone who has attended the club will know how hard the staff work.

We are therefore asking the local business community to support the staff and make a donation to the cause, this can be done through PayPal or you can email me on contact@greentaverners.co.uk, to make payment by cheque or bacs.

All the money you donate will go to the Green Taverners, for staff and equipment for the team and is nothing to do with the Administration team, so every penny will go to the cause.

We really appreciate the support that the local community has given so far.

Rochdale Fanfest Thanks

Thank you to everyone who attended the FanFest on Saturday, I think we can all agree it was a great day, and everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

We had over 190 people through the door.

We also had the raffle and charity auction, which with the ticket sales raised over £2,000.

We would like to say a special thanks to Dave and Rick for providing great entertainment. Again Damon has come along to our event and helped out with the MC and I am sure we can all agree what a great job he has done.

We would also like to thank the Staff at Plymouth Argyle who without their help this event would have never been possible.

Watch out for the upcoming post about the Walsall Game, we strongly advise people buy tickets in advance for this as we are limited to 200 people and will be done on first come first served.

Dont forget you can join us at PAFC on Saturday for the England v Wales Game, more details here
